Bluebell Wood

Today was mostly dull so not great for blipping so, we went to down to the Bluebell Wood which is in full bloom!
Again, without sun we really couldn't give the flowers full justice but, it was lovely and relaxing down there!
Starring in the blip is Miss T relaxing on an old gnarled tree trunk.
The wood is on the perimeter of what was Fort GEORGEwhich is where I understand the Guernsey Militia was based before the war. The militia was disbanded when the occupation loomed and the islands were demilitarised by UK as undefendable. This was I think due to our proximity to the occupied French coast.
There were lots of people wandering around so it was a case of grab the moment when you can!
