A grand day out

The day started with a drive down to Craignure to collect the organic fruit and vegetable orders for four of us in the Dervaig area. The views along the way were glorious with wispy trails of mist hanging around the hills and low lying areas of the glen. Once the groceries were delivered N and I took a few hours off in Tobermory for some last-minute shopping and lunch out. The bay was looking stunning with the clouds and blue sky reflected on the calm water.
In the evening we were invited to join a small group of friends to celebrate the birthday of one of us. We made the canapés and desserts ourselves but the delicious fish and chips came from the Bellachroy Hotel in the village. It was a great evening of chat, something we as a group haven’t been able to do for quite some time.
