Mother- in - law had a small crash in the supermarket car park the other day. Foot slipped on the accelerator!
She went up the curb and into a small tree.
Didn’t tell us until the next day.
A very kind couple helped her out. Woman took her to the nearby cafe for a coffee ( she was in shock).
The husband drove the car off the tree!
Then the woman drive her home and he drove MIL’s car to her place.

Such lovely people.
MIL forgot to get their names or details etc. She thought they said they lived in Lyttleton, so I got on the Lyttleton Community Facebook page and posted about the incident, and with the magic of small communities I soon had their names!
Dropped them a little thank you gift today.

The old red Toyota has just about used up all its lives now I think. There are quite a few other dents etc from other smaller prangs.
