Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Pip was here again this morning. I took the boys out for a walk round the streets, avoiding any grassy muddy areas. I wore my jacket - it was warm!

JR, after the gym, was busy organising this evening’s soirée - an ex-colleague was coming to celebrate getting a new job. Hazel came over too, as she’s off to London for Christmas, so we won’t see her over the festivities. A fun evening was had, with Hazel at one point getting in to Archie’s bed with him. She was ‘bonding’ with him, I think. Though not sure what Archie thought…

What delicious nibbles we had - a cheese board (with cherry and amaretto jam); sliced apples with blue cheese, seeds, nuts and honey; crostini with Gorgonzola, figs and Parma ham crisps; spinach, feta & sun dried tomato mini muffins. Followed by Mr Waitrose’s hot crumbed king prawns and sticky beef ‘lollipops’. Delicious. FOUR bottles of bubbles!

Archie had today’s treats from his advent calendar (thank you Elizabeth).
