Dog drinking trough

Strange things you come across.
Parking up for an opticians appointment and while walking out saw this almost hidden against the wall.
Googled it when I came home. Prince Chula Chakrabongse of Thailand was educated in Harrow and later Cambridge.
There is a granite drinking bowl at Mitchem’s Corner in Cambridge, donated in 1934 in memory of Prince Chula’s dog called Tony.
He lived with his wife at St Mabyn near Bodmin.
This granite tomb and granite trough is dedicated to a wire haired terrier called Joan and a bulldog called Hercules. He was obviously a dog lover
He died of cancer aged 55.
