Trip over to Sutton Hoo today. Wander around the exhibitions....how clever and skilled were our early ancestors, intricate carvings and decorations are simply beautiful. Then a walk down to the River and check out Woodbridge from the other side then back up to the burial mounds on the site only to find out that one of the excavations revealed a long boat that had been dragged up to the site from the river....don't know how those guys hauled that boat up there without modern technology!

Spotted these two patiently waiting to go on with their walk, but as there were sheep grazing ahead they weren't allowed any further along.
