Princely Birthday

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It’s The Prince’s 53rd birthday today! Sadly this is the last birthday that I will be able to tell him that he is lucky to have a wife in her forties!

The Prince LOVES baking and spent a reasonable part of the day being excited about having birthday cake. It was the main conversation topic when we went for a walk with Murphy, although he was a bit disappointed when I said we couldn’t just have cake for lunch.

This evening after dinner in The Salisbury Arms, The Youngest Mini Princess headed off to meet her friend and we went to meet Kitty Cat and Marsh for a drink. The Eldest Mini Princess was loving hanging out in the pub with the olds. I’m sure it was for the quality chat. Nothing to do with the free booze. This is clearly why they say that children are expensive!
