Broken Angel

A private person ordered this statue from sculptor Kauko Räsänen in 1960. It was meant to be placed on the grave of the ordeder's son. But a huge scandal arouse. The church was horrified and didn't accept the statue to be placed in it's graveyard. The statue was years in a storage, until the neighbouring commune placed in a park close to their church. It is known as "Hole Angel".
