week, then comes the snow!

The business phone woke me at 5:30 AM. I was not amused. No message left so it really can't be important. I'm NOT calling back!

The good thing about the call is I was still awake when the colour hit the morning sky. I was out on my deck to capture what I could of my mountains and my neighbourhood. The air was calm and crisp. The snow crunched under my boots. 

I'm sitting with the dregs of my coffee and the last two pieces of panettone, toasted and buttered. It will be another day of going nowhere. 

The forecast is for a day of mixed cloud and sun with a high of -23 C.
