Creek

I took mum to drop off a card at her friends and was duly invited in to her tumbledown cottage for a cup of tea.  After our tea mum and I walked along the peaceful creek with just the curlews joining us.  

I was expecting a week of rain but so far I’ve been lucky that the days are dry and the rain comes during the night…. Along with the owl hooting.
