Summer solstice

At Lennox Head, on the east coast of Australia, the summer solstice in 2022 happened at 8.48 am today (according to this website). That was about 3/4 of an hour after I took this photo, at Lake Ainsworth. We had an early start, to join friends for a picnic breakfast. The celestial event passed without any obvious sign. Maybe there should be a siren sound or trumpet fanfare to mark the occasion.
