Today's decoration is an ornament that Becky gave her dad a few years ago.  He will always be a proud Marine!

I made Snickerdoodles and Pizzelles today.  The Pizzelles are very labor intensive, but everybody loves them, so I made 3 batches.  That took about 3 hours, and during that time our temperature dropped from 50 degrees (10C) to 16 degrees (about -9C).  The temperature is still dropping and is now 4 degrees below zero (-20C).  So far, the deck has about 4 inches of snow and it's supposed to continue all night, so it could pile up.

I am grateful that we aren't having a blizzard, just a VERY COLD snowstorm. ;-)
