Christmas 2022

Will go down as one of the more complicated ones in memory. My uncle broke his hip on Monday and is in a hospital 2.5 hours from here . I was therefor the surgery and post op but he was pretty out of it . And later in the day found out we had been exposed to COVID at Saturday’s Messiah concert notified by emails sent out to our group. I’m negative so far but the husband is positive. So no trip to the hospital but 2 hours to his house to pick up the mail , do some other chores at his house and visit my parents and aunts grave .Back home to pick up more COVID tests finish shopping , well almost, and go to choir practice all in mask. Oh and pick up his paxlovid. And Chinese food for dinner. And there are some complications with the post op recovery not entirely unexpected with his age but certainly not wanted and concerning. And I can’t even think about getting down again till I’m sure I’m negative. Sigh.
