Redpoll

This morning we drove up to see MaggieD's Mum and to paint her hallway in advance of family visiting from Suffolk.
It didn't take too long to apply a good coat of white emulsion and it fairly brightened the place up.
We kept a close eye on the bird feeding station at the back door and counted some 12 species of regular visitors. the Redpoll is one that I have never knowingly seen before. There were two of them enjoying the seeds provided for them.
