Waiting for the Off

WilsdenWalker, Rickie and I walked up to the Estate this evening to take part in the Winter Solstice 5k Run for Manorlands Hospice.  We were in our Christmas outfits and were surprised by how many 'proper' runners there were, a great turnout, I reckon at least a couple of hundred.

We were going pretty well till about half way round when I took a spectacular tumble over a rock on Altar Lane.  S and R went in to rescue mode to prevent folks falling over me and give me time to come round, big thank you to them both.  We finished the course walking and received rather splendid bling.

I think I may be a bit sore in the morning....
