Donuts

These freshly fried sugar dipped donuts took me right back to the Home Exhibitions which used to be held in Edinburgh. I don't know where. My Auntie Sheila used to take my sister and I.

We would walk round fairly uninterested until we got to the donut stand. I watched them fry and turn in drool enducing anticipation.

Today's did not disappoint, they were warm, light, sugary and utterly delicious.

Our girl arrived last night, perhaps that's why the donuts tasted so good? I know it's why we are all squeezed into the sofa watching Elf, all three of us with a combined age of 127!
