Bloodsuckers

If familiar with BBC Death in Paradise, it seems like I have got my very own Harry the (Common Garden) Lizard looking over my shoulder on Vavathi farm island. Also known as a ‘bloodsucker’ as the males turn red, but mentioned here in the title, simply because my ankles and calfs have also quickly turned blood-red and are itching like crazy - after two days being bitten by mosquito or sand fleas or both.
