Finished

Our new picture arrived this morning and the driver also collected the one that was damaged.  

As for the item I ordered from John Lewis that went missing, I had a message from Evri this morning to say that there would be a delay in sending out the replacement.  Sounds like they've lost that too.

We have finally finished the jigsaw after removing and replacing several pieces and sections of the sky.  Judging by the finished article it would appear that whoever has done it before us (bought at a jumble sale), had a similar problem.

It's the shortest day.  HURRAY.
