Sparkly crocs

Christmas calls for sparkly crocs and feet up in front of the TV.

We had a hanging about kind of day.  Mum had a 10am post op check in Exeter which we thought would be quick but turned out to be anything but. It was a day of nursing strikes so it was little wonder things were slightly to pot but it was closer to 12:30 before we were seen.  As we thought we’d be quick we had taken Dad in too and had left him in the cafe with his puzzle book thinking we’d see him again in an hour. He must have thought we had abandoned him for good!  Anyhow, once we were all done, we then headed out to get some lunch and had a massive wait there too.  We eventually got home around 3:30pm so it was definitely feet up time after that.

All worth it though as the checks were spot on so looks like the old all went well.

Ian has finished for Christmas now too, so that is the whole household work and school free for a couple of weeks.
