A very traumatic and worrying morning after hearing late last night that the rescue dog that the girls' mum had just picked up from Battersea had escaped the house and run off. She'd been home for less than an hour so would have been very confused and scared.

Lots of social media posts later, and after some brilliant support from Battersea themselves, who sent the person who's been looking after her over to help search, she was found in the local woods. Hungry and scared but safe.

I think we all cried.
