Blipfoto day 21: Three weeks already!

On todays walk I had had an image in mind and it was not this one!  I notice that this is often the case.  On my return journey after taking the shot I envisaged I decided to call into the local coffee shop, after all it is freezing outside!  It was here I noticed this image.  Red contrasted with a side window throwing in lots of light.  I had several considerations to take onboard; not to be noticed taking a photo, with a wide open lens and a bright background how would I meter the scene and how to focus.  So this is what I did, I took a meter reading of a medium shade on a nearby pillar, focused on a chair roughly the same distance away and hoped it was right.  Finally I let the camera rest on the table pointing in the right direction and pressed the shutter.  The image you see is uncropped and I converted it to B&W which I think works best.  You will have to take my word that the girl was wearing a red top!  Note the reflection in the window.
