Ice Cream Season
New Englanders take ice cream very seriously. In fact, we consume more ice cream per capita than any other region in the country, a whopping 26 pints per year (about 12 liters), according to the New England Ice Cream Restaurant Association.
Ice cream season began in April when the roadside ice cream stands threw open their windows. This was only our second trip this year. I have a bit of catching up to do.
P.S. This is just the "kiddie" size.
Oh! and it turns out there are two goose families on the pond! The second has two goslings. They were all out and about today.
