Washing day

We were on our way to church when I spotted this at the back of the house. Kalume had just washed his clothes and had put them out to dry. Now, it is not that cold out here and my immediate conclusion was that the clothes were washed in warm water. But I was quickly assured that they were washed in cold water and that this steam tends to rise every morning when the clothes are hung to dry. What a bizarre happening!
