Frankie & Missy …

….. enjoying catching up again, on Tobins Track this morning. We’ve met up with Frankie before when she was being walked by a neighbour’s friend. Today it was her owner with her, but Missy recognised her instantly. They did have fun chasing each other. Yes, we did get to the top of Tobins! Very slowly I must say, but it felt great munching a muesli bar at the top, and enjoying the amazing view.

I then met up with a friend for coffee, then a quick visit in to Frankton, before meeting up with many of the villagers for a walk through the new but-still-to-be-finished enormous Village Lodge. We’re crammed into the present Lodge so the shift is needed, but the change in size is somehow almost too much the other way.

Today’s the longest day of the year, with the sun setting at its latest. We’ll be sorry to see it slipping back again.
