A Christmas bauble

Past Christmases we have always decorated our tree with  mementos of holidays.  Fluffy Kiwis with Christmas hats, woolly merino sheep, a little red barn from America, red felt kangaroo from Australia etc, it was a good moment to remember those holidays and friends.  This year we have a much smaller tree and the bauble l have blipped is one l took off a tree which was being thrown away.  It is a rather ordinary grey/silver thing but l like the way it picks up the light and reflected colours from around it.

Today is the shortest day of the year, l and my camera are going down into town looking for some blingy  Christmas cheer.
