Closer to the Heart

I am not really one for taking flower close-ups - I love looking at them in journals but can't seem to get inspired myself. I am a little restricted in my Blip travelling this weekend while we settle the dog in, and so I wandered off into the garden this morning. Actually, my neighbour's garden, but she's on holiday so don't tell her!

I think this is a Bleeding Heart fuschia - very aptly named. And an excuse for a fab song..

Lazy Sunday here; Mr kagsy is Marbella, toughing it out on a work conference, my son's AS Levels start tomorrow so he is submerged under revision, my daughter is slumped in front of the tv and the dog is slumped beside her. I might go and slump too. Housework will still be there later.

See, not a dog Blip! But, for anyone interested, she is doing so well, can't believe how smoothly it has all gone so far. Big test tomorrow when I have to leave her for a couple of hours, but if I take her out for 20 minutes before she will be knackered and hopefully sleep.
