All I Want For Christmas

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

I met Fazzy for ice cream today. She was in very good spirits. She LOVES Christmas. She loves things that are sparkly and shiny. 

And she LOVES mince pies! LOVES them so mu-

"I JUST found out they contain alcohol!" she exclaimed. 

Uh-oh.

"But isn't there some wiggle-room here?" I asked. "I mean, you're allowed medicine with alcohol in it... and it's not like I've ever seen anyone drunk on a mince pie. Could you ask an Imam about it?"

"No," she said. "Just no. I've decided myself. No wiggle-room."

She has sourced some non-alcoholic pies from Tesco's and as her mum will be visiting from the UK in a week, Fazzy has asked her to bring some over.

Phew. Christmas is saved.

We talked about our Xmas plans. Our combined Xmas plan especially. I will be playing Santa for her children on Xmas Eve. Zay is eight now and a little Santa conspiracy theorist, but Hani is six and a full-on Santa believer. 

"But they'll KNOW it's me when I'm up close," I protested.

But Fazzy has a plan. I'll be Santa outside her house. I'll wave and then when the kids run to the front door, Fazzy and Shahier will run interference, maybe even rugby-tackle their own children which will give me chance to escape. Then I'll change out of my Santa-togs and stroll back in as Uncle Symon asking what all the hullabaloo is about.  

I'm not sure how this will play out. Watch this space.

In return, Fazzy, Jess and Briar have been part of MY plan to do a Lip Sync Challenge with the team. We are all going to lip sync to "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah and I'll splice it all together to make a little montage of the team making Xmas dicks of themselves.

Jess sent me the footage the trio made of themselves. In today's blip you can see Fazzy delivering the opening line. And honestly it is JUST ADORABLE. The three of them are clearly having THE BEST TIME. 

It may just be the cutest thing I've seen all year. 

I'm still waiting on footage from Jefe, Manda, Ellie, April and the others. It is just possible that me and Caro will have to do ENTIRE REST of the song. 

Either way, I will share it with you. And it goes without saying Princess and Fat Pete, if you want to take part I would just love it. You do not HAVE to wear an adorable hat like Fazzy, but it helps.
