Still faffing about with my new toy and trying out different functions, so please excuse the banality of this one!

Flatmate N is having his first course of chemotherapy tomorrow, so I'm cooking up a big roast leg of lamb as a treat today. We have no idea how the chemo will affect him yet, so I'm making sure he gets a good home cooked meal in case he's too ill to eat anything for the next few days or so.

So, today's menu will be: Roast lamb, dauphinoise potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips & butternut squash and some brocolli & peas.
Dessert will be: Plum tart (from Waitrose - I'm not Delia Smith!!) and home made custard.
I think if he manages to get through all that, he'll not need to eat for a week anyway! :-D
