Hadleigh Castle.....

....what's left of it.  Not exactly romantic looking ruins that you can wander round but they have quite a commanding position as a sentry post to the Thames Estuary.  A  "good-to-be-out"  day today after yesterday being so dreary.  I didn't miss out on much by languishing about with a box of tissues to hand,  hot lemon etc. and my own mix of thinly sliced onions steeped in honey - almost worth having a cough for.  All things combined - a day of rest, natural remedies and I banished the cold in less than 48hrs.  On the down side I seem to have moved awkwardly and my back has "set".  Hope not another day of languishing to shift it.
