Diamonds ( and rubies) are a girl’s best friend

My ring has arrived ! You may remember that in August (eta 15th to be precise as I looked back at my blips) I asked a jeweller friend to remodel a gold diamond & ruby ring I no longer wore, and he suggested a “bubble” ring. Today he delivered- to say I’m delighted is an understatement! I’m wearing it on my LH ring finger but no way it looks like an engagement ring which is exactly what I wanted.
