Grey Heron

I went down to Winsford this morning to do an adlab geocache and stopped at the marina to see if I could get a blip. I was fortunate to glimpse a kingfisher flying past but despite hanging around for a bit it didn't return. This grey heron was unconcerned about everything going around and I was able to get quite close. Annoyingly I lost a lens hood which slowly rolled into the river just out of my grasp.

Going to watch Chester at Farsley Celtic tonight (again) in the FA Trophy. Rick won't be going so I will be driving over on my own and will skip the usual geocaching and pub visit.
