A pre birthday dinner!

This afternoon we had a splendid Sunday roast at The Welsh Harp in Waltham Abbey as a pre birthday treat for The Son, whose birthday it is tomorrow.
The rain started late morning and brought a fair old wind with it so by the time that we left the pub, the majority of snow had been washed away, to be replaced by ankle deep puddles.  Pictured here are two of our party setting out along Sun Street towards the car park.
