Home at last

We had another long journey back from London. When we set out, the satnav said we would arrive home at 3pm, which would have been just shy of 3.5 hours driving. But with a stop for petrol on the way to the motorway, a road block on the M1 for the police to clear up some debris in the road and just a ton of traffic on the motorways, we didn't get home until nearly 5.30pm. We only stopped for a 10 minute leg stretch and to use the facilities on the M6 toll road. I really feel for those people that have yet to still make their Christmas journey up or down the M1/M6. It's so rubbish at this time of year, especially with the train strikes as well. 

Anyway, we are home and are looking forward to a lovely Christmas up in the northwest of England once again. So, here come the start of the Christmas decorations being blipped :)
