A hobby less fashionable

Another Hobby of mine is painting Warhammer. It may be "unfashionable" but I find it incredibly relaxing. When I was a child I used to play the game too, and my painting was okay but rushed and I never really tried to develop my painting skills.

These models start off pretty much like air-fix-kits. dull grey plastic in pieces you must assemble, undercoat, and paint.

Nowadays I really enjoy sitting down for a couple of hours and doing the best job I can and learning the techniques for different areas, colours, styles, etc.

I'm fairly proud of what I can achieve now, even if it does mean I spend some of my time - as most other people say to me - "playing with little toy monsters"
