Headlights ...

... on our street, late this afternoon.  


It was a quiet day.  Marylee's friend came over and they played Scrabble.  Marylee worked on getting a few holiday cards out
(the holidays have really crept up on us this year) and then made chicken curry for dinner, as excellent as always.   Afterwards I spent time going through one of my favorite art books: A biography of the Dutch artist Pieter Saenredam (1597-1665), with his complete works. He did wonderful paintings and drawings of churches and other buildings in Holland in the 17th century.
