New Holland Honeyeater

I've been meaning to stop at this little reserve on the way to my folks' house for a while because I think I saw some black swans there a while ago. Well, ma worked last night, and we're both working tonight, so I went over this morning to see her briefly and stopped at the park on the way home.

No swans, just some water hens who were too far away to photograph- and I couldn't be bothered waiting for them to get closer. So I got a few snaps of the New Holland Honeyeaters instead. None of them came out particularly well- I didn't crop this one, because it's not really focussed all that well. Anyway, there's always tomorrow.
