Noel

It's been one of those rare years when we haven't bought a new ornament for the tree. This one was bought after Christmas in some remote part of the South Island of New Zealand in early 2009. Happy memories. The tree is it's usual mix of tasteful and artistic, craft made and cheap and cheerful. I particularly enjoy the set of fibreglass baubles that we bought for our first tree in 1975. Still going strong.
In other news we have been cleaning and tidying to show a couple round for the third time. I wish they would make their minds up either way, but on the bright side we would be doing it this week anyway ahead of our house guests arriving on Friday.
