Settled in

Leo and I got ourselves comfy to watch the football.  We were hoping for a France win and they almost made it.

I was ringing at 6pm as there was a carol service at the church so I had to head out before the penalty shootout.  At least that saved my nerves getting shredded.

It was a very entertaining World Cup despite all the political negativity about it taking place in Qatar.  It will be back to a summer competition in 2026, taking place across US, Canada and Mexico.

Ian won the Uno league for December and we get to pass the wooden spoon on to Liz.  It’ll be a few weeks before we play next because of Christmas and New Year.
