Grange Over Sands, Morecambe Bay

We went to C's funeral today.  A friend, of about 10 years,  who recently passed away.  A sad occasion but also joyous - such lovely music and an interesting eulogy from her nephew.   Originally from south London, she had moved to Manchester for University and various teaching jobs and then to the Lakes, which she loved.  She lived in Staveley and then Grange and loved the ever changing views of Morecambe Bay.  I hope she would have liked today's views taken at the station.

It was dull, wet and grey but we were relieved that it hadn't been last week with all the frost, snow and ice.
