Olde Worlde

A little bit of Christmas shopping today in Barnard Castle, a country style market town in the west of County Durham.  The pic shows an old fashioned stationery shop in the high street.  Expected to have to cancel today's trip after all the snow and ice this week but we woke up this morning and discovered ALL of the snow had gone and the temperature was approaching  +12c.
