Thaw Begins

I decided I better have a picture of some snow before the thaw sets in overnight. I will not be sorry to see the end of the slush and ice. It was easier to walk than yesterday, but there were still icy patches to catch out the unwary.

It occurred to me this photo could almost be in black and white. Apart from the green moss on the tree there would be almost no difference.
