70s evening - was it really like this?

The costumes were really good and Coral summed it up when she said that it made her happy and just generally made her feel good. Funny how something as simple as the way we dress influences how we feel.

Tim made desert. Raspberry cheesecake was very good. trifle not so. Shame as he had put a lot of effort into it and even lashed out 325 on a glass bowl to serve it in but where was the jelly and the birds custard. That's what 70s trifles were all about, not this fancy restaurant interpretation of a classic. And don't even get me onto the subject of the missing 100s and 1000s
