The punch

Just home from a very loooong day at work - 16 hours on the go. When I left the wedding the party was in full swing, with a really fun bunch of people and some great music.

As I was shooting some dancing shots I spotted the guy with the tie around his head having a very energetic pretend fight with another guest, so I dashed across the dancefloor to get a shot. As I got there he turned his attentions to the groom, but in his drunken enthusiasm actually managed to make contact! I just love the bride's expression in this photo as she realises that her new husband has just been punched in the face :)

PS: he wasn't hurt!
