"Happy Mothers Day"

...Well, it's Mothers Day in Australia where I live, a special day to remember and especially appreciate all of the Mums of today and yesteryear...

And ofcourse, I have been spoiled..

I'd like to share with you a beautiful poem John has penned down for me in just a few minutes...honestly, he is so fortunate to be able to write such beautiful poems "at the drop of a hat" as they say (where did that old saying come from?") and words, straight from his kind and lovely heart...


"There is a Rose that blooms so fair - a flower so bright,
That none can compare,

There is an Angel with golden hair,
With eyes so bright and skin so fair,

Her gentle nature is like a breeze,
That ruffles the rustic and soft green leaves,

This Angel, this wonder of Nature's dare,
This Gem of all Gems -that none can compare,

She is the Woman I Love, the Light of my Life,
This Heavenly Soul - is my Darling Wife.."



I feel very honoured to have such a sweet and loving husband of almost 49 years..
