Back to pastels...

It's been quite a while since i played with pastels....and i had forgotten how much i love using them, the feel of them in my hand, the way the marks go onto the paper!

Been a funny few days!  on the 16th we hosted an afternoon gathering for the folks in our community that meditate together etc., and since it's been 2 years since we did our annual retreats, we thought it would a good idea just to have a little social gathering!  It was lovely indeed...chatting with some folks i haven't seen in a couple of years.   But oh the lead up....i spent about 3-4 hours that day clearing the clutter we live with, and a bit of deep cleaning...it really needed it, but well, definitely not my happy place :)   And in the end i was happy to have done it, the house does look rather spiffy...all ready for next weeks family visit for Christmas !!!

Yesterday just felt like a very laid back kinda day so i didn't do much.

Today i put a piece of paper on the board and am still enjoying some explorations - now with a glass of wine by my side :)
