Ski Tour While you Can

My friends, Steve and Francoise, about to set off down some very thin snow, but there is always the feeling that it might completely go away. Nothing is certain in the Pre-Alps with global warming … The views across Lac Hongrin are always beautiful on the Mont Chevreil descent. 

Arriving home I had to go out immediately as we had our “adapted” Village Christmas Story (horses in Christmas outfits in extra) starting at the 300/500 year old tree which sadly had met its demise about a month ago. Surprisingly there weren’t many men in the gathering until we arrived at the village hall for drinks and festive fare! I guess the football was over then.

I can’t comment tonight, feeling really tired! Thanks to all who liked yesterday’s dropping into the fog old style.
