Joyce's Gift

Last Christmas, Joyce left her neighbours a candle each on our doorsteps, a simple lovely gesture.  Ours has pride of place on the mantelpiece.  Thank you Joyce x

We were concerned about the forecast of sleet showers on cold ground today so were out early to an orienteering event at Oakwell Hall.  It was verrrry cold but most enjoyable and we were home before the showers arrived and turned our road and pavements into an ice rink.  Thank you to more of our neighbours who have turned out to grit the road, including our doorstep.
