Our tiny tree this year…..

…….with just a few decorations as yet. These may be rearranged before too long and a different lot tried out!
We visited our friend Thierry yesterday afternoon after our pub lunch, and had a lovely time.
He has a rubber plant, which is more like a small shrub in shape rather than being tall and gangly. He had decorated it with lights, small garlands and ornaments.
I should have taken a photo! It was quite a sight!
He is going to France on Thursday, (just beating the Border Control strike hopefully) to visit his mum in Grenoble for Christmas, as he’s done each year since he lived in the UK.
It has been raining all afternoon and miserable outside. But all the ice and snow had disappeared and the forecast tomorrow is for a top temperature of 14C!
