A Festival of Lights

The grandchildren and I went to the City of Hillsboro’s Lightopia holiday light show tonight. I live on the edge of this city, but not in it…it’s quite literally across the highway from where I live in the northernmost edge of unincorporated Portland, Oregon. Anyway, we’ve participated in this holiday treat for several years now, along with the recently mentioned Zoo Lights. We turned up the kid’s Christmas Music and enjoyed our drive through the ever expanding display.

Other than that, I’m focused on getting ready for the knee replacement on Wednesday. The house is settling in - a few boxes remaining to make room for somewhere. It will all work out.

A gorgeous, if very frosty, day today. So frosty in fact, that the golf course was closed all day.
