O Kummel ye faithful

Definitely joyful
Not at all triumphant

Kummel is a liqeur from Germany made using caraway seeds and is something you either like or you don't. I had never heard of it before yesterday. Personally I love it. One of my work colleagues gave me a bottle and we've already made steady progress on it.

Maud and the Rogster for dinner tonight. Made TSM's signature smokey red pepper and chickpea soup followed by vegan haggis wellington with a winter crumble made from apples and Black Forest fruits to follow. 

Really lovely evening, very funny. The Dizzle and Ms R dropped in on their way home from a party to complete the fun.

Here's a hack. Put mince pies in the blender with cold butter and plain flour - makes a great crumble topping.

So tired now I am sleepwalking.
